"They see the fire as a political tool, we light the flame of hope for the Albania of the next decade". The minister for relations with the parliament, Elisa Spiropali, addressed the extraordinary Congress of the Socialist Party with these words. Comparing the opposition with the majority, she said that the philosophy that divides them is that success is shared, while responsibility is individual.
"Our philosophy is one, and unchanging; we believe that success should be shared with everyone and responsibilities are individual. This is the difference with our opponents who behave like arsonists with the parliament or boycott it or burn it. And one of the main reasons We are not divided by the barricade of chairs that they overturn, but the different choices that divide us. they start fires, we build by putting out their arson, we are an institution of freedom, they are an instrument of taking freedom hostage. We are together in a parliament hall but we are light years away and above those who are terrified by the anxiety and fear of the hours of truth. Unable to convert into alternatives. Their philosophy goes in the opposite direction to that of the Albanians. They date their scorpion with the year '97. They seek to impose their anxiety for punishment on the Albanian society. They raise hell, we win for Labor Day. They have also lost their own hope".
And continuing the comparison with the opposition, she said that the SP is persistent and free in self-correction.
"This extraordinary congress is part of our efforts to be a catalyst for self-correction change. Unlike them, we have the freedom to change and correct ourselves to learn from our mistakes. No other leader like Rama and no other organization like SP has been so capable and persistent in the practice of self-correction".
And in this context, Spiropali spoke about continuous reformation in the party, government and administration.
"Our challenge is a set of daily struggles. This requires our continuous reformation in the party, government and administration. A process like it happened yesterday and should happen tomorrow. Nothing is immutable and our political victories are not predetermined because opponents only know how to lose. Our success is a means to carry forward the good works we are doing to avoid complacency and to fight against the abuser of power, with any means and any place even within us in the administration and everywhere paving the way for democracy, competition, voting, control, meritocracy and collegiality".
According to her, everything starts from justice and she emphasized that the SP has clearly shown its position with the justice reform project.
"The Strasbourg court wrote a decision for January 21, that decision that SP has given political language in a decade; Shooting without trial of 4 protesters on the boulevard, the state involved in the crime. This is the decision of Strasbourg. It is enough to see the attitude of the two poles towards justice to understand because we are at work and they have turned into sticks in wheels in working Albania. The judicial reform is one of the biggest projects we have undertaken, of an independent power to create control and balance between the two powers". (A2 Televizion)
