SPAK sends for trial the former democratic mayor of Shkodra, Bardh Spahia, accused of the criminal offense of "Obstructing the execution of court decisions".
The investigations of the Special Prosecution Office have revealed that at the time when Spahia held the position of President of the General Assembly of the Shkodra Water and Sewerage Company, as well as the Mayor of this district, in July 2022 he dismissed the administrator of the Shkodra Water and Sewerage Company, Marko Molla, and appointed another person in his place.
This decision was appealed by Molla, for unfair dismissal and violation of the law. The court suspended Spahia's decision until a final decision was made, deciding that Marko Molla should be reinstated.
But regardless of the court's decision, SPAK says that Bardh Spahia did not respect the decision to reinstate the person he dismissed, but 7 days later issued three other decisions, in which he again dismissed Marko Molla. (A2 Televizion)
