The opposition should be organized in a federation to unify the positions in front of the majority in the parliament. With this aim, the platform presented by the small parties for overcoming the crisis in which the opposition has entered, envisages the unification of positions by inviting the entire opposition spectrum to become part of it.
"The institutionalization of the opposition federation, which includes all the opposition and relevant opposition factors that value the opposition relationship as an obligation and not an agreement that strengthens governance and anti-constitutionality."
Fatmir Mediu – Chairman of the Republican Party
Part of the platform was overcoming the crisis of representation in the reform commission, where a vote among the opposition MPs was proposed as a solution.
"Members are elected by 2/3 of the deputies. If in two rounds the co-chairman is not elected by 2/3, then he is elected by a simple majority. For the reason that the co-chairman does not represent the interest of a party but the entire opposition."
Fatmir Mediu – Chairman of the Republican Party
The dialogue with the majority seems difficult and to enable it, help from foreigners is required.
"The dialogue position, opposition, with the presence of internationals, with the diplomatic body in Tirana for the solution that we offer by presenting it in writing to avoid any kind of misinterpretation."
Fatmir Mediu – Chairman of the Republican Party
In the presentation of this platform, neither the people of Basha nor Berisha, who numerically represent the largest opposition weight in the country, were present. Agron Duka asked them to put aside their personal grudges because according to him, 2025 will mark the next defeat.
"Both Basha and Berisha, as good television followers, have listened to our proposals. We hope they will call to reason that in this state of the opposition, disintegrated, it is difficult to defeat this mega-majority. We all have to sacrifice a little of our character...”
Agron Duka – Chairman of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party
This platform has also been signed by Vangjel Dule of PBDNJ and five other non-parliamentary parties. (A2 Televizion)
