Prime Minister Edi Rama, present at an activity for the presentation of innovations in professional education, declared that teachers' salaries can be increased further only "by having more economy and more income".
"Teachers' salaries will increase as they have increased until today, with government policies, but how do they increase even more?" Grow by having more economy and more income. If we have more economy from tourism, is it up to us or not to think about increasing the capacities of the structures we have? As an education system, we must contribute," said Rama.
According to the prime minister, a mobilization of the entire professional education body is needed, so that the hotel structures have qualified workers.
"A new path must be opened and for this a mobilization of the entire army is needed. We must achieve the objective by any means and we must not walk with the step of a turtle. Today, hotels in Albania don't ask how much you want your salary, but whether it comes or not to begin with. "Young people don't have queues for jobs," Rama emphasized. (A2 Televizion)
