The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party will send the agreement between Albania and Italy for immigrants to the Constitutional Court.
It was Sali Berisha who announced the group's decision, adding that according to them the agreement has serious violations.
"The text will be prepared and sent to the Constitutional Court. We think that there is a serious violation of the constitution, Edi Rama's signature and violation of human rights."
This decision did not pass without debate during the closed-door meeting among the democratic deputies.
"The debates are normal, but on the whole they agree. The debate is completely normal, I don't see anything. It was the will of the group as a whole. I am also in favor of this option, because it is what we have decided," said Berisha .
"There were colleagues who judged that it should not be taken to the Constitutional Court. In the end, everyone has taken their own position and we all agreed that the right way is to take this agreement to the constitutional court. Some colleagues have taken a different position during the voting, there was no opposition," declared Gazment Bardhi.
Meanwhile, the small allies of the Democratic Party have announced the presentation of a platform for the unification of the entire opposition factor.
Bardhi and Berisha admitted that they have received knowledge and willingness to support him.
"We support any initiative of anyone that aims to unify the opposition. It is a platform of allied parties that will be presented to the Democratic Party and the parliamentary group".
"They said this as an announcement, but not a discussion, because they discuss with each other."
As for the call of internationals for dialogue with the majority, the PD group requests the fulfillment of their demands and then they express their readiness to discuss with the majority.
Gazment Bardhi also welcomed the decisions of the Assembly not to prevent the entry of expelled deputies, considering a reflection on the part of the socialists. (A2 Televizion)
