Sali Berisha considers the siege of the SPAK and GJKKO buildings by Erion Veliaj's supporters as a criminal attack on justice institutions and blames the head of government, Edi Rama, the Minister of Interior and the Director of the State Police for this event.
Condemning the behavior of the blue uniforms who did not react to secure the building and protect the justice officials, Berisha announced criminal charges against the heads of state.
"The DP, condemning with the greatest force, declares that it will send for criminal prosecution the Minister of Interior Ervin Hoxhaj, the Director General of the Police, Matriks and Edi Rama himself for the unprecedented, unprecedented act that occurred yesterday, when segments of the state rise up with violence against other institutions," Berisha said, writes A2 CNN.
The opposition leader has a warning for the prime minister if such a protest occurs again in front of the SPAK building.
"I give an ultimatum to Edi Rama, don't you dare organize another protest because the opposition will respond with a counter-protest that you can't imagine. Don't you dare, remember this. If you call for a protest, the final protest will be called for you," Berisha added.
But when asked about the rallies he holds in front of SPAK whenever he is called to respect the security measure "obligation to appear", the leader of the Democratic Party says that they are not protests, but media conferences that will continue during each of his visits to the security building.
"I will definitely go and give the most brilliant press conference," the Democrat leader said, writes A2 CNN.
Considering the gathering of Veliaj's supporters in front of the GJKKO as a violent protest, Berisha claimed that he will launch a movement to protect the Constitution.
"I am absolutely defending the Constitution. I am defending and will defend the Constitution and I will never again accept what happened," the former prime minister concluded.
He also accused the Prime Minister of intending to use the changes at the head of the Ministry of Interior and the Police in the elections. (A2 Televizion)
