Berisha ultimatum to Rama: Don't you dare protest in front of SPAK, we will

Two days after the gathering of supporters of Mayor Erjon Veliaj in front of SPAK while security measures were expected against him, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has warned Prime Minister Edi Rama. In a conversation with journalists, Berisha called on the head of government not to dare protest in front of SPAK anymore, as otherwise he will respond with final protests against him.

"I give an ultimatum to Edi Rama, don't you dare organize another protest because the opposition will respond with a counter-protest that you can't imagine. Don't you dare, remember this. If you call for a protest, the final protest will be called for you. We are heading towards elections, have the courage to face the vote of the Albanians, but the attack you made surpassed El Chapo, Toto Rina and every criminal in power and out of power that has existed until today."

Berisha described the organization of the protest in front of justice institutions as shameful and said that with this act, Rama proved to Albanians that he wants justice to be submissive at his feet.

"Do not forget that Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj, who organized in the most shameful, most criminal, most undignified way the siege of justice institutions and the physical attack on prosecutors and judges, holding them hostage in the building for hours without letting them leave, have committed this act, along with dozens of other acts, for which they may have been supported and applauded. With this act, Edi Rama and his gang, the criminal organization he heads, proved to Albanians and the international community that they accept a justice that lies at their feet, that is subject to them."

He called the gathering in support of Veliaj a "criminal attack by the narco-state on justice institutions."

"Albanian citizens and the international community witnessed the most heinous acts in the history of the narco-state, the criminal attack on justice institutions by other institutions of the narco-state. Yesterday was the peak of the Narcos in Albania. An organized protest, announced by Edi Rama and his government, by state employees and police officers with and without weapons, surrounded the special court and the special prosecutor's office for hours. They held judges and court administration employees hostage in the court, attacked their cars like bandits. They behaved as if they were institutions of the occupier. Such an attack proves not only the complete and total failure, but the extraordinary degree of criminalization of the leaders of the Albanian narco-state. Sending thousands of police officers and state employees to surround a law enforcement institution, threatening the lives of judges, directly incited by Edi Rama, is an appeal to every Albanian. "It proves that you are willing to use any anti-democratic means, to use violence whenever you are not interested in enforcing the law."
