Alongside Fredi Beleri, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of imprisoning and preventing the Greek MEP from taking the oath, after the latter had refused to run for the Socialist Party in Himara.
Berisha also said that Himara has always responded to invasions and did the same with Edi Rama, showing the country by voting for Fredi Beleri.
"Listen to Edi Rama, who has always given Himara the answer to the invasions, and Himara with Fredi Beleri also gave it to Edi Rama. Donald Trump said that the biggest enemy is the internal enemy, who uses justice to take the mandate of the elected since he cannot defeat them on the battlefield. You voted for him (Beleri) and he used justice like a coward, to take the mandate from your elected president, he made an old slanderous trap like the ones that the former state security set. His prosecutors and judges did not allow Beleri to come and take the oath and the reason was only one, because Beleri refused to run for Rama, he told him I am right-wing and I have my principles, which do not match his principles to steal your land", said Berisha.
