"They are çyryk", Rama: The men of Dibra have not been

Prime Minister Edi Rama's statement a week ago in Dibër, where he emphasized the strength of women's and girls' votes for the Socialist Party, saying that men are "half normal and half stupid", has caused a stir in public opinion.

The leading socialist, heavily criticized by the opposition for the reference he made, clarified the language used through the "Sy m'Sy" column.

"I have not offended any Dibra man, I said "half". I explained to the electorate that 56% of Albanian women are a healthier part politically because they are less inclined to sit in cafes, and they support the SP. In some districts it goes over 60%. Among men we are closer, and I said 56% of women, 55% of first-time voters and half of the men are enough for us, the other half are politically lazy", Rama explained.

Rama further said that the men of Dibra are not offended by the labeling he made and they will show this by voting massively for the Socialist Party in the elections.

"Going with the swamp has a very big problem. This is why the women of Dibra and the men of Dibra are not at all offended, on the contrary, you will see them in the elections. Or later that sentence will come, as some scoundrels used to say from the swamp mirrors at night, the people are sick because they think that things are going well," said Rama.

In the end, the Prime Minister stated that the majority could reach 1 million votes in the May 11 elections.

"A little over 800 thousand, it could go up to 900 thousand, almost 1 million, if the immigrants are told that there were some problems with DHL," said Rama. (A2 Televizion)
