Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a "live" conversation in the "Sy m'sy" section on Facebook, stated that he apologized for the phrase "political autism", something no other politician has done.
"There is only one thing for which I apologized, but it was an unintentional mistake. Political autism is a term used in political and academic literature. It is not something created to insult or hurt anyone, but quite rightly, I had to make a mistake to learn it. For some time now, this phrase has been considered inappropriate," Rama declared, writes A2.
The Prime Minister added that no other political leader has apologized: "It came out completely unintentionally, speaking, and finding myself in the conditions where I felt I might have hurt parents of autistic children, I apologized. It's certainly not the first time I've been wrong. I've done on other occasions what someone who makes a mistake should do, apologize. Can you find me another Albanian political leader who has apologized?"
