Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has revealed the name of the candidate proposed by the Democratic Party for People's Advocate.
During his speech in a statement to the media, Berisha said that the candidate proposed by the DP for People's Advocate is Besim Ndregjoni, the president of the Union of the Politically Persecuted.
"The Democratic Party's candidate is the president of the Union of the Politically Persecuted, Mr. Besim Ndregjoni," Berisha said during his speech, writes A2 CNN.
The election of the People's Advocate is a process that has remained hostage to political dialogue since June 2023. The names have been supported with signatures only by the opposition. 1 of the 7 names, Vitore Tusha, Bledar Dervishaj, Tartar Bazaj, Besim Ndregjoni, Dardan Mustadaj, Edison Frangu and Erald Aga will also have to receive the support of the socialists in order to take the place of Erinda Ballance.
