The fifth meeting of the Accession Conference with Albania will be held on May 22, 2025 in Brussels, writes A2 CNN.
The news was announced on the official website of the Council of the European Union, where it is written that the meeting will serve to open negotiations with Albania on Group 3 'Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth', including Chapter 10 (digital transformation and media), Chapter 16 (taxation), Chapter 17 (economic and monetary policy), Chapter 19 (social policy and employment), Chapter 20 (enterprise and industrial policy), Chapter 25 (science and research), Chapter 26 (education and culture) and Chapter 29 (customs union).
We recall that Prime Minister Edi Rama has warned that by 2027, the negotiating chapters for Albania's entry into the European Union will be closed.
