The political leader of the Korça region for the Democratic Party of Albania (DP), Ivi Kaso, together with a group of candidates for deputies and advisors of this political force, in a press statement, have requested the mayor of Korça, the Municipal Council and the Council of Ministers to declare a natural emergency regarding the damage caused to fruit trees in the southeast of the country.
According to Kaso, farmers in the Korça region, due to weather conditions, have lost 100% of their plum and cherry production and 70% of their apple production.
