The parliamentary action launched by the opposition on November 6, to prevent normalcy by blocking commissions and plenary sessions, seems to have been forgotten by quite a few democratic deputies. The passing of Commission meetings online was considered illegal by the democrats, who explained that this procedure could only be applied in cases of emergencies or extraordinary situations.
The opposition accused the majority of going underground, but now some of the opposition legislators of the Berisha-Bardhi group are legitimizing what they anathematized, by participating in these virtual meetings.
Bujar Leskaj, Lindita Metaliaj, Isuf Çela, Ina Zhupa and others were present in the online commissions. The last case was Edmond Spaho, who did not say a word, but participated in the vote, speaking against the 2024 budget.
Before him, many other deputies have been present in the online commissions, some opposing the online meetings, others have remained silent.
A2CNN asked Sali Berisha about these developments, who tried to justify his deputies, but did not provide explanatory details.
"They went programmed, they didn't go for the quorum, they went with another purpose".
SALI BERISHA – DEMOCRATIC PARTY, RE-ESTABLISHMENT
Although the head of Reestablishment speaks of a coordination and action on behalf of the group, Edmon Spaho tells the opposite, when contacted by A2CNN.
"There were others, I didn't know that. I didn't know I had to go."

On Tuesday of this week, the head of the parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, insisted that participation in the commissions was unnecessary, standing by the opposition action.
"There is no need for us to participate in commissions to say our thoughts about the budget, especially since the budget is transparent and citizens know that they have no benefit."
GAZMENT BARDHI – HEAD OF THE PARLIAMENTARY GROUP, PD
With recent developments, the opposition is becoming part of the majority's strategy, which tried to minimize the effects of opposition action in the Parliament. By becoming part of the online commissions, the Democrats are legitimizing what until recently they called illegal. (A2 Televizion)
