The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, has announced that Albania has been elected a member of the UNESCO Executive Board for the period 2023-2027.
"An excellent news comes from Paris: Albania has just been elected a member of the UNESCO Executive Board for the period 2023-2027. We thank all the member states that entrusted us with this important responsibility and look forward to working closely with all the members of the Board, in the spirit of dialogue and consensus. In a world torn apart by multiple crises, we need more than ever to invest in peace. UNESCO's role is more necessary than ever.
