The Chairwoman of the Education Committee, Ina Zhupa, has requested that a hearing be held with the Minister of Interior and the Minister of Education on the issue of School Safety, following the hearings that have been held with parents and the package of measures that the government would undertake.
According to A2 CNN, Zhupa stated that "for this Commission, safety in schools is very important and the life and health of children is a priority. Therefore, ministers have a duty to leave electoral campaigns where they are political leaders and come to respond as required by the Assembly's regulations."
After a debate about the timing that was being used as a pretext by the Socialists, Speaker Zhupa stated that they are ready to receive the ministers on the date they have the opportunity from today until the end of February, writes A2 CNN.
