At the start of the meeting of the leaders of the 5 NATO member countries in Skopje, Prime Minister Edi Rama greeted the Albanians in North Macedonia in Albanian, on Alphabet Day. The head of the Albanian government emphasized the defense in the region at a time of crisis and threatening wars. The General Secretary of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, also participates in this meeting.
"Good afternoon! First of all, I would like to wish all the Albanians here in North Macedonia a blessed Alphabet Day in the Albanian language. On the other hand, I am very glad that today we gather here at this difficult moment for everyone, a moment of wars and serious crises, which have the potential to directly endanger our side, a moment when here in the region everyone must let's focus on protecting and preserving what we have achieved, which is not a little, a fragile general peace, but a peace nonetheless, and put all our efforts to make this peace final and lasting."
