"We will eat them alive", Rama to Alizoti: This is a joke, they are one more tired than the other

With 10 days to go until the parliamentary elections, the voices of the pink and blue camps have been raised.  Prime Minister Edi Rama has called the political leader of the Democratic Party for the Elbasan region, Tomor Alizoti, a "scoundrel" , after the latter said at the midday electoral meeting that "we will eat the government alive".

The head of government responded to Alizot from the electoral meeting in Kuçova, adding that " Ludovic is not normal " and according to him, the political figures of the DP are one more accomplished than the other.

" Ludovic said 'we will eat them alive'. That's what Ludovic said to Tomor Alizot, because of a character in a movie. This is nonsense, it's not normal. There was another one who said that under this vile government, 1 million lek has disappeared, but he was wrong, because he meant 1 million people. They are the same, one more tired than the other, one more exhausted than the other, they get up at the crack of dawn, drink swamp water and throw it away ," said Rama.

The prime minister then focused on the polls, which he said are being misinterpreted by rivals at a time when the Socialist Party (PS) is emerging as the winning force. Rama said that the opposition calls the people crazy by not taking the poll results into account, but added that they will learn a good lesson from the people on May 12.

" At night they say that the people are sick, even though the polls say that the SP is winning. They say that the people are crazy. The polls say that the majority of the population thinks that the economy has grown, they say that the people have been sold out. On May 11, they will learn the best lesson from all the elections we have held. Everyone vote for the SP, because on May 16, EU leaders will come to Tirana, but British leaders and leaders from Turkey will also come. They must have a clear message that the majority of Albanians want EU membership. We cannot throw the European destiny of Albanians into the swamp ," declared Rama. (A2 Televizion)
