The investigation without any security measures for four criminal offenses of the head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, for the Democratic Party is proof that justice is on the way. The member of the presidency, Belind Kelliçi, claimed that Veliaj is being set free to manipulate the evidence.
"In the last days of 2024, the Special Prosecutor's Office for the Fight Against Crime and Corruption officially announced that it was investigating the head of 5D and the de facto owner of the Tirana incinerator, Erion Veliajn. For almost 2 years, I have filed several reports accompanied by thousands of pages of authentic documents and indisputable evidence, which prove the corruption of Erion Veliaj with the tenders in the Tirana Municipality, the ghost incinerator of Tirana and the famous company 5D, of the 5 directors of the municipality.
Erion's colleagues in SPAK inform the Albanian citizens that they have already come to the conclusion that the head of 5D, Erion Veliaj, has committed 4 criminal offenses, but his colleagues certainly do not take measures against Veliaj, but leave him free in order to to destroy and manipulate the evidence, and above all they are leaving enough time for him to secure political asylum, with the excuse that Nesti Rama is lynching him, because he was the successor of designed by global leader and close friend of Charles McGonigal, Edi Rama. This is the next proof that proves to the Albanians that this is a directed justice", said Këlliçi.
