About two months after he was involved in the social media whirlwind by sharing a "meme" on his Instagram profile that mocked MP Agron Gjekmarkaj, his Democratic colleague, Xhelal Mziu, appeared alongside him at an electoral meeting of the Democratic Party.
After the December 23 protest, where Agron Gjekmarkaj lost consciousness and ended up in the hospital, Mziu shared a post saying that his colleague is "spineless."
"He's lucky he's alive, Doctor! Considering he has no spine!", read the post with a photo of Gjekmarkaj in the hospital, where he was being visited by Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, which Mziu shared on his profile.
Meanwhile, the electoral meeting where Mziu and Gjekmarkaj participated was held in Caserta, Italy, on February 3.
This meeting was held as part of the tour of DP deputies before the May 11 elections, where they are meeting representatives of the Albanian diaspora.
