May 11 immigrants, here are the cases when the request to vote is rejected

A few days before the start of the deadline for the registration of immigrants who want to be part of the parliaments on May 11, the Central Election Commission approved the working protocol for the administration that will examine these requests.

There are two cases when the CEC can decide to refuse the registration of immigrants to vote from abroad and they are related to the residential address. At the next meeting, Ilirjan Celibashi approved the act on how the CEC administration will act with the requests of the diaspora, underlining that every request will pass through the administration's filter.

"There are only two cases where the administration makes a decision and it is related to the uploaded document for the residential address and whether they have filled in the address section," said Celibashi.

The political parties asked for guarantees from the CEC stating that their audits should access all requests, whether those that are approved or those that are rejected.

The diaspora registration process will begin at noon on January 11 and they will have until March 11 to express their desire to participate in the May 11 parliament. (A2 Televizion)
