The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is holding a meeting with supporters in Malësia e Madhe, where, among other things, he touched on the "flirting" between his predecessor Lulzim Basha and Prime Minister Edi Rama on social networks.
Berisha ironized the exchanges between the two politicians, describing them as a daily “smash and slur.” According to him, this confrontation is worthless and shows Basha's misuse of the opposition.
" Do you see what is happening with Lulzim Brava, the daily bickering with Rama. It is abuse. It was the circumstances that forced me to return, " the DP leader concluded.
He stressed that he did not return to politics for personal interests, but to fight for a better future for Albanians. Berisha pledged to create a real opposition and a serious alternative for the future of the country.
"Berisha is not in this battle for himself or his family, but for Great Albania. Circumstances imposed this decision on me. I fight for a safe and strong country, that moves towards the European Union, where salaries increase and the quality of life improves," the opposition leader said. (A2 Televizion)
