Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his column "Sy m'sy", stated that the European passport is not something physical to leave and come from European Union countries for Albanian citizens, but something related to dignity and equal opportunities for every Albanian citizen, student, entrepreneur, like European citizens.
"The European passport is not needed to escape, because to escape, one escapes even with the one we have, but the European passport is needed to finally gain dignity, the dignity of an equal European citizen. The dignity of the European traveler who is not pulled aside at every EU entry point to be asked by the police where he is going. The dignity of the European student, who wherever he studies in Europe enjoys equal rights with students who were born and raised in that European country. The dignity of the European employee, who wherever he works in Europe, enjoys equal rights with employees born and raised in that European country," said Rama, writes A2.
"The right of a free, equal person, who enjoys the rights of every European citizen and every opportunity offered by the European solidarity network. Are these few? Now, despising the work of others is easy, but it does not help you live better. On the contrary, my grandmother used to say, 'anger, the blackness of the Lord'! Meanwhile, I believe that if you were a little more interested in the EU, and the impact of EU countries on the citizens of the peoples who have entered that family before us, it would not fall so short and so backward. Even creating more favorable conditions for young people to invest in Albania, as you request, with entry into the EU becomes easier than with staying outside the EU", added the Prime Minister.
