Journalist Arjon Sulo has stated that SPAK influenced the May 11 elections and reduced the chances of political rotation occurring in the country.
Sulo made the comments on the 'Debat' show with journalist Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, where he expressed his belief that the Socialist Party and Prime Minister Edi Rama will win the elections.
To illustrate what he considered to be SPAK's political decisions, Sulo took the opportunity of the summons to SPAK of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj. He said that at the same time, Veliaj's accuser, Belind Këlliçi, was also summoned, with the aim of 'smearing' Veliaj's case and closing it without filing the 5 D file.
"If SPAK's mandate is extended now, it is a test for the SP. I say they will push it. There, the deputies raise their hands, Rama will win, the decision is very simple. The SP wins the elections. So far, SPAK has influenced the elections and reduced the chances for political rotation.
We have a photo, the day Veliaj was questioned at SPAK for 5 hours, SPAK took Belind Këlliçi and asked about his diploma and closed the 5 D. The millet called Veliaj's informant to see him so that they could say, here are the two, one from the SP and one from the DP and went and closed the 5 D file. In a sneaky way, the least of it, why? Without Veliaj 5 D. I had never seen anything more political than that," said Sulo, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
