Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha has reacted through a Facebook post to the recent search requested by SPAK and carried out by BKH agents in an area in the former Blloku area, which was allegedly used by family members of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj.
Berisha claims that the flash search was carried out in the "secret apartment of the Veliaj couple" . According to the DP leader, hundreds of invoices, dozens of contracts and a large amount of cash were found during this search.
"Hello Dr. Yesterday at 1:00 PM, a secret apartment belonging to the Veliaj couple above the Harabel Center was searched by the BKH in a flash operation. According to Nesti Angoni, this was their cash apartment. The apartment was found to contain piles of invoices, numerous contract files, but also cards full of euros. All of them were seized along with computers and other digital devices. The search was carried out under strict police protection and a court decision!", states the message that Berisha claims was sent to him by the digital citizen.
Unlike Berisha, A2 has learned that the search, conducted at the request of prosecutors Altin Dumani and Olsi Dado, took place in a warehouse near the "Harabel" center in the former Blloku area.
The court decision was executed this morning by BKH agents, who have administered documents or valuable electronic devices for the investigation in this environment. (A2 Televizion)
