The Democratic Party has presented the points of the economic program, which, according to it, will make it possible to get the country out of the difficult situation it is in.
Through a post on his Facebook page, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, wrote that in our country, food and clothing prices are higher than in Europe, while salaries and pensions are several times lower.
He also promises that the DP, within the first 100 days of its government, will change this dramatic situation in which the country finds itself.
Berisha's post:
Dear friends, here the prices of food and clothing are higher than in Europe, while salaries and pensions are several times lower.
This is the cause of the increasing impoverishment of Albanians! Do you want to know what the Democratic Party will do to end this situation within the first 100 days of returning to power?
Here are some points of our program:
1. We will establish a living wage of 200 euros for everyone, pensioners, the unemployed, those on economic assistance, even students.
2. The minimum salary will be 500 euros.
3. The average salary will be 1,200 euros.
4. The subsistence minimum will be indexed by law.
5. Pensioners and low-income families will have lower electricity and water prices.
6. Fines for electricity and drinking water will be waived for pensioners, the unemployed, families in need with below-average salaries, and single mothers.
7. Pensioners and all citizens with a minimum subsistence income will be provided with a consumer card, with which 100% of the VAT for the products in the basket will be reimbursed.
8. The state will cover the costs of the third child up to the age of 23, including state education. By putting the family first, we will help heal the wounds of depopulation in our country.
9. Through social buildings, we will enable affordable housing prices and loans for young couples and the disadvantaged.
10. Farmers will benefit from state subsidies for each head of livestock and each production unit.
11. We will make financial resources and state land available to compensate the owners.
12. Immigrants, when they decide to return to their homeland, will have 0 taxes for 5 years and will benefit from soft loans when they buy a home.
13. At the university, the admission average will be removed.
14. The price of oil will always be at the minimum of the regional average; extremely high prices end.
15. All taxes and road fees will be abolished.
How will we make these possible?
The money is there. Roads and public works will no longer be built at stratospheric prices, 10 times higher than in Europe, but will be built according to fair standards. We will reverse the distribution of national income and wealth; our focus and investment will be on Albanian citizens. (A2 Televizion)
