At the closing ceremony of the temporary vetting process in the justice system, the ambassador of the European Union, Silvio Gonzato, said that this action was the main contributor to the opening of negotiations, writes A2 CNN.
"What has been done in Albania is unprecedented. I think this is proof and test of the resistance of the system that was set up and the professionalism that you showed in this 7-year journey", said Gonzato in his speech.
"What you have done has contributed to the opening of negotiations. But we must not let our guard down. We must complete the process and it is important that all complaints are verified within the deadline, which is the year 2026.
