Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has congratulated Prime Minister Edi Rama on his victory in the May 11 elections. “Congratulations to Prime Minister Edi Rama on the overwhelming victory in the parliamentary elections in Albania. Dear Edi, I can’t wait to meet you on Friday in Tirana for what could be a historic summit of the European Political Community,” Orban wrote on his X account.
As he has done with all the other leaders who have congratulated him so far, Rama thanked him wholeheartedly.
"I look forward to continuing to work together in the common interest of our two beautiful countries, as well as for the full integration of Albania into the European Union and the Western Balkans, a cause you have long supported," Rama writes.
"I am also looking forward to welcoming you to Tirana for the European Political Community Summit, after the fantastic meeting we had in Budapest six months ago, where you raised the bar very high, my friend." (A2 Televizion)
