"The Prime Minister does not clarify the slander", Balla: Refusal of

There was a debate in the assembly regarding the opposition's request for an interpellation with Prime Minister Rama on the Becchetti case.

In the absence of the head of the government, Minister Balla said that the Prime Minister has no obligation to clarify the slander, as the Becchetti case is still being examined in the courts.

"It is impossible for the Prime Minister to leave his commitments to respond to this request for interpellation. He cannot account for a propagandized libel. I call it slander that the Albanian state has paid 130 million euros to a person who is facing trials in other European countries. Here we are asked to have the prime minister come and clarify a slander.

You can find it in the regulations where the obligation to clarify a defamation is. All ministers are ready to come and give an account only when your request is substantiated with facts. This Assembly, with the constitution and the regulation that followed it, has the ability to reject interpellations, when they are not in form", said Balla. (A2 Televizion)
