Prime Minister Edi Rama exchanged jokes with the Mayor of Kavaja, Fisnik Qosja, while criticizing local leaders for the legalization process.
As the director of the State Cadastre Agency, Lorena Goxhobelli, said that many municipalities do not participate at all in the legalization process, Rama asked her: "What answer do municipalities have that have not made any measurements and have not made any legalization?"
The Prime Minister then said that no private entity should have a letter saying "you are in the process". "In fact, I believe that the time has come for all requests for legalization of premises extensions to be given a big visa. Residential buildings are another thing, while builders and traders cannot be talked about as a process", said Rama.
After Rama's speech, Qosja intervened, saying: "We have 6 years of measurements and there are 20 legalization decisions, so we are not 0. We are not where we should be, but not 0."
"You're 0, 0! You're a complete democrat!", Rama replied. (A2 Televizion)
