The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, has stated that the Kombinat area where he has been assigned by the Socialist Party to cover in the May 11 elections is one of the most difficult areas.
Gonxhja made the comments on the 'Debat' show with journalist Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, where he said that this area still suffers from problems inherited from the 2019 earthquakes.
He also said that this area, namely unit 6, is one of the largest in Tirana with approximately 73 thousand voters, but expressed his belief that the SP would receive a positive result.
"I am assigned to unit 6 where the old Combine is in the concept of the Combine area, but also the new part of unit 6 that joins the Ring Road and that also goes beyond the Ring Road towards the center.
It is a very large unit with about 73 thousand voters. The area is one of the most difficult also because of the problems it has inherited, especially due to the earthquake emergency. I think that all of these together now make sense in the open list.
