The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, invited to the "Debat" studio by Alba Alishani, on A2 CNN, was asked where he agrees with Prime Minister Edi Rama in his criticism of SPAK.
According to Berisha, he has no connection with the head of government in his assessments of this institution.
"This institution is facing a mountain of countless corrupt acts. I have appreciated and supported those prosecutors who enforce the law. But those who sleep on crime files and use them to enrich themselves and bribe, they must be punished," said Berisha.
"I have absolutely no connection with him (Edi Rama) in these assessments. I would betray the opposition if I did not stand with the greatest force against the political prosecution. A prosecution that works for an Albania without opposition, arresting opposition leaders without any facts...", added the democratic leader.
