Dasho Veizaj, who is also known as 'The Most Beautiful Petal of the Socialist Rose' due to the speech he gave at a SP youth convention, has reacted on Facebook after being sued by SPAK by the former opposition candidate for the Municipality of Himara, Petro Gjikuria.
Gjikuria has decided to sue the young Veizaj in SPAK, after he was illegally relocated as a voter in Himara, reports A2 CNN.
With a long post, Veizaj has decided to speak his truth.
Full post:
In a world where free speech is a blessing, but also a responsibility, some choose to use it not to illuminate the truth, but to cast a shadow over it. Those who construct lies do not intend to inform, but to manipulate. And for this, I can have nothing but contempt.
Slander is easy, constructing the truth is hard work. Those who give themselves the right to play the role of a nail should know that the hammer of facts does not forgive them.
I read these days in the media that the opposition has found after 7 months the reason for the loss of the local elections in Himara. Because it was my vote. While the loser imported by the Panepirot organization has filed a complaint against me at SPAK, claiming that I manipulated my residence data to vote in Himara.
Yes, you heard it right – an accusation that is not only ridiculous, but also a testament to the mental poverty of those who seek to smear me. Peçua from America accuses me, that besides being from Borsh with roots and branches, I have decided to live my whole life in Albania. I trust justice and I trust SPAK, because my truth needs no embellishment or protection – it stands pure and unwavering.
To make it clear to all those who want to play with words: I, since the day I was born, have been registered as a resident of Himara. In Lushnje I attended 9-year and secondary education, but this has never changed my legal residence, which for 19 years has been Himara. This is my legitimate right as an Albanian citizen and no one can deny me what the law recognizes as a right.
I have a name – Dashnor Veizaj – and I do not need to hide behind pseudonyms or epithets invented by the tired and poor imagination of those who seek to smear me. But, as Migjeni said, “The man who does not know is an animal; but the man who knows and does not do is a traitor.”
In this case, those who know the truth and still choose to spread lies are neither animals nor people – they are simply servants of darkness.
Laughter is the best response to absurdity! Don Quixote would laugh out loud at this farce. Accusing a person who has voted in his legally registered place is ridiculous – an absurdity that only a dark mind could produce. The facts are simple and verifiable: I have always been a resident of Himara and my right to vote there has never been in question.
But here comes the greatest irony: in the 2024 elections in Himara, facing an Albanian candidate, a pseudo-candidate, a "colloquithe", disguised as a defender of human rights, but in reality a puppet of those who use Himara for their dark agendas, was running. And he was running under the slogan of the most slandered ruin Albania has ever known! Should we be surprised that those who attack me today were the same ones who supported this political farce?
Himara does not forget, they say! Yes Himara does not forget! It does not forget its past, it does not forget the persecutions, it does not forget those who have used its name for dark interests, and, likewise, Himara does not forget the "scoundrels" who try to call it Vorioepirus.
After my speech at the Socialist Youth Assembly, they called me a "scumbag", "evil scoundrel", "blind tool of the Socialist Party", etc. If this is their arsenal of arguments, I feel sorry for the poverty of the mind that produced it. But they also call me "the beautiful petal of the socialist rose"?!
The irony here is twofold: first, it is a failed attempt by losers to avoid internal problems, which after May 11 will only deepen. But, in reality, a petal of a rose always remains beautiful, while a thorn, if used unwisely, does nothing but pierce the hand of the one who holds it. So, be careful with metaphors!
At the Youth Assembly of the Socialist Party, I have said a simple truth: Young people are the most beautiful part of our party and its symbol. Anyone who wants to use this as a weapon against me only shows his inability to understand the importance of the younger generation.
And yes, I did not flee Albania – I did not flee to seek a future elsewhere, but I believed that this future could be built here, in my country, with my people, for whom I will continue to fight.
I do not betray my ideals nor do I put them up for sale, as most of those who have "analyzed" and smeared me on portals and channels do. During the day they talk about principles and at night they explore every possible path to profit like real fools. (A2 Televizion)
