Edvin Kulluri, from the 'Right 1912' party, stated that they have formalized the agreement to enter into a joint coalition in the May 11 elections with the Movement for National Development party, led by Dashamir Shehi.
Kulluri made the comments on 'Ditari i Pasdites' with journalist Bruna Çifligu on A2 CNN, where he said that they are in discussions with other political factors to shape the joint coalition.
He also said that for over a month they have been appealing to all parties that share common values with them to join in a coalition to maximize the vote, taking into account the difficulties that the electoral code creates for small political entities.
"We have held talks. Talks continue to be held. We have made a public invitation of 1 month or so to every small or new party, for the sake of the situation created by the electoral code, to unite in a common open list in a broad front, to confront those who demanded the closure of the lists and who have caused this crisis of democracy that we have been in since 2008.
So far, only we and LZHK have openly come out in an agreement and we are waiting for a response from several other entities, except for those who have said that they will not join any entity, such as the case of the party of Arlind Qori and Agron Shehaj. The invitation is open and this invitation applies to those parties that have a public weight, that are both public voices, but also parties that have proven themselves in past elections", said Kulluri.
