Prime Minister Edi Rama today mocked former Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha, while in a live communication on Facebook.
During his speech, while responding ironically to a citizen's comment, Rama said that Basha was everyone's favorite and it was no coincidence that, according to him, of all the promises he made when he was mayor of Tirana, he only made the cake for the 100th anniversary of Independence.
The head of government, addressing Basha publicly, said that he was nostalgic for him and felt a 'burning sensation' every time he remembered him.
"To be honest, we had a sweet tooth, a sweet tooth. And I don't know how we're going to get it back. We had a sweet tooth with Lul Basha. Our sweet tooth was Lul Basha, everyone's. So it's no coincidence that Lul Basha also made the cake. Of all the things he said, he only made one cake. Oh Lul, where are you? Every time I'm reminded of you, I feel a nostalgia, a burning sensation," Rama replies.
