
Albanian Foreign Minister Igli Hasani held important meetings with top Ukrainian leaders, including President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna, and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
During these meetings, the ratification instruments of the Friendship and Cooperation Agreement between the two countries were exchanged, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed, which aims to strengthen cooperation in the European integration process.
In a post on the social network X, Minister Hasani stressed the importance of these steps in strengthening bilateral relations and Albania's support for Ukraine. "Albania stands resolutely with Ukraine on its path towards peace, security and a European future," he said.
Hasani emphasized that the signing of these documents symbolizes not only a close political and diplomatic partnership, but also the commitment of the two countries to work together within the framework of common European goals and values.
During his visit to Kiev, Minister Hasani also discussed the challenges that Ukraine is facing in the face of continued aggression and reaffirmed Albania's unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
This development represents an important moment for relations between Albania and Ukraine, clearly demonstrating the commitment of the two countries to strengthen friendship and sustainable cooperation in all areas.
