Journalist Poli Hoxha has stated that the new opposition front being initiated by the leader of the LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, the leader of 'Djathtas 1912', Enkelejd Alibeaj, and other opposition figures, including Lulzim Basha, will be 'frightening'.
Hoxha made the comments on the 'Ditari' show with journalist Bruna Çifligu on A2 CNN, where he said that this front, with the polls of Prime Minister Edi Rama and Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, is expected to receive up to 20% of the votes.
He also said that the groups expected to join this front are united in the 'fight' against this system, support for SPAK, and the Euro-Atlantic stance.
"The opportunity is very great. I also followed Mr. Shehi's chronicle. If you look at all these parties that are trying to achieve something in the May 11 elections, they have their main points in common. Whether they are a little left, whether they are populist, whether they are right. Whether they are from the DP, like Basha's force that is also following the trial for the acronym in the Supreme Court. All of these have in common that they are against this system, they are pro-SPAK and Euro-Atlantic.
For things that they openly disagree with, such as electoral reform, the fight against SPAK, Berisha openly says that he is against SPAK, while Rama does it in his methods. And this will be with this thesis, are you for or against SPAK and should the people choose the deputy, or the president. And this front is very strong. With their own polls, Edi Rama's is going to 20% right now. I say it's going even higher.
"But the problem is, will this vote be capitalized? These should be called alternative parties. If these were to unite, because the electoral code also imposes it on them, they have an emergency and I support Mr. Shehi's call. The deadline is running out. I hope they will do it. These have worried the two big guys and this is clear, both Rama and Berisha," said Hoxha, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
