The Electoral Code may change again. From Elbasan, where he met with candidates for regional deputies and the leadership structures of the Democrats, Sali Berisha expressed his dissatisfaction with the current electoral code.

The corrections made at the end of July last year regarding the open lists, when the 10,000 vote quota was removed and the list was divided into two parts, closed and open, are not sufficient for him, so he promises that after the elections he will sit down with his opponents to improve it.

"The list is still unfair, I say so. But, as it was, it was worse. Because to become an MP, you had to get 10 thousand votes. A total of 3-4 people got in. And so, those who are left, whoever gets the most, gets in. We hope that after the elections we will change the code and make it fair", declared Berisha, writes A2.

With his dissatisfaction with the Electoral Code, he also justifies the happiness of those who were left out of the lists. He invites them to work for the Democratic Party for May 11, because, as he says, they should not only think about a seat in the Assembly, but about their future in politics: "I invite the MPs who are not on the lists to contribute. In politics, the journey does not have a finish line. The journey is long. Today you were not elected, tomorrow you will be elected."

Berisha asked all candidates to extend a hand of cooperation to every opposition member and to reveal the Democratic Party's program to the citizens. (A2 Televizion)
