Two January decisions for the Agrarian Environmentalist Party. First, Agron Duka will continue cooperation with the Democratic Party for the May 11 parliamentary elections. He clarified that the agrarian-environmentalist candidates will be accommodated in the list of the main opposition coalition, with the aim of having representatives in 10 districts in the open part. But in order to put the formalizing signature of the cooperation there are also requirements for the fixed list.
"We will have one in each district on the open list and of course one or two on the closed list, the negotiations are not over yet, but I am sure that we will agree", said the head of PAA, Agron Duka, reports A2 CNN.
The second final decision is that the Duke will not be an MP in the new legislature. But he promises full commitment in all districts, where the maximum limit is 40,000 votes, even though his name will not be on any list.
"I am no longer running for parliament, many people tell me that this decision could have a negative impact on PAA, I don't think so. At the end of the day, it has been discussed a lot why the roads are not opened to young people, I am trying to do this. If this thesis falls down, it means that this experiment fails and we say to the leaders of the parties, stay there until you die", said Duka, reports A2 CNN.
Duka suggests his decision to other party leaders, but does not consider the withdrawal of Sali Berisha an option at this stage.
"It is very difficult for the leader of the opposition to make such a decision because the whole ship is out of tune, while our boat is small and we recover quickly" , said the Duke.
The old Democratic ally had a rallying cry for all other minor parties to come together in the May 11 election to be wagons on the Democratic Party-led train. (A2 Televizion)
