Discontent with DHL, Celibashi: The problems are minor, voting from abroad

Diaspora ballot boxes have begun to fill up. The Central Election Commission has taken into administration about 22 thousand envelopes with ballots and the head of the institution is optimistic about the progress of the process. "We have distributed about 154 thousand ballots, they have been received, 22 thousand have been returned," said Celibashi, writes A2 CNN.

The same optimism has begun to be shared by political parties. Initially, the Democrats and then the Socialists have expressed public complaints about the process, especially regarding the postal service, complaints that Ilirjan Celibashi considered sporadic. “There are only 100 cases out of 154 thousand sheets,” he said.

But what has worried the CEC the most seems to be the behavior of voters from abroad with their ballots, who have turned the demonstration of their vote into a trend by publishing photos and videos on social networks. “They are committing a criminal offense. We are spending a lot of money — they should be serious about the process,” Celibashi said.

The diaspora vote has received maximum attention at the CEC, but the focus is also on the campaign within the country, for which Celibashi advised restraint regarding the language used by the political leadership. (A2 Televizion)
