The leader of the Socialist Party Group, Niko Peleshi, during his speech in the Assembly stated that the opposition does not participate in committees and then complains about why draft laws are not added.
"Our group is to move forward with a busy agenda, until the end, before the Assembly starts its vacation. We have a lot of work, there are about 20 acts to be approved. Let me remind you that the Assembly does not start and end at this rostrum, it does not take place only on Thursday, but throughout the week. You are not in committees and then ask why draft laws are not added. Let's add them all, but someone has to work, someone has to come to the meeting", said Peleshi, writes A2.
"All Albanians should know: the Socialist Party and its group are conducting the entire process themselves in your absence. You only hold your usual procedural speech session and discussions outside the agenda. But, citizens should also know, even those who do not follow the work of the committees, that you do not attend the committees. Very few members of the committees from the opposition participate in the committees. With or without you, we will successfully close this Assembly to start in September," Peleshi added.
