The first phase of pre-qualification for the construction of the new Port in Porto Romano has been completed. The news was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, according to which 2 consortiums have qualified, which will submit economic offers after submitting the documentation.
Balluku emphasized that Albania will have a model port, which will serve the entire region.
"The construction of the new Port in Porto Romano is on track, the pre-qualification phase is completed. International consortia participated in an open and transparent competition. The commission, led by the international consultant Royal HaskoningDHV, qualified 2 consortia, which after submitting the physical documentation will present the economic offers. Albania will have a model port, a HUB in the Mediterranean, which will serve the entire region."
The competition for the new Port in Porto Romano opened in the summer of last year and 15 international companies participated in the competition for its construction. (A2 Televizion)
