DP's economic program, Berisha: 200 euros per month for every Albanian to

During an electoral meeting in a neighborhood of the capital, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, presented one of the main promises of his program, saying that a living minimum of 200 euros per month would be established for every Albanian.

According to him, this amount translates to about 6.3 euros per day, a level that according to international standards is enough to get out of misery, although not to avoid poverty.

Berisha stressed that this promise is part of a program designed with the help of local and foreign specialists, which aims to immediately help the most vulnerable segments of society. He focused particularly on pensioners, families that cannot feed their children three meals a day, and those who cannot afford to buy medicine.

"This program will be launched urgently to help those who are most in need. And those who are most in need are those who live in extreme poverty. We have an urgent intervention and this urgent intervention is the establishment of a living wage of 200 euros. Every Albanian will receive 200 euros, which means that he will have 6.3 euros a day. With 6.3 euros a day, he comes out of misery, there is still poverty, but not misery. This is an international standard, this is a real standard," said the leader of the DP.

In his speech, Berisha accused the current government of disregard and contempt for citizens, saying that for 12 years in power, it has not taken sensible measures to help people in need.

He also criticized the government's latest proposals, which according to him are distorted copies of the DP program and empty promises for the future. (A2 Televizion)
