The Democratic Party has notified the Tirana Police about the protest that will take place today, on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Through a statement, the Police announced that the DP has received 2-hour permission for the protest, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The Police also announced that they have taken all measures for the smooth running of the protest and have identified several roads that, according to the Blues, will be temporarily blocked during the rally, writes A2 CNN.
We recall that today's opposition protest is taking place against the closure of the Tik Tok social network, a decision taken by the Government, which the DP describes as censorship.

DVP Tirana - The Tirana Local Police Directorate has been notified by representatives of the political entity Democratic Party of Albania, for the holding of a rally, on 15.03.2035, from 19:00 to 21:00, on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Based on and in implementation of the Law "On Gatherings", the State Police has undertaken all measures to guarantee public order, enforce the rights and freedoms of citizens and participants in gatherings, as well as protect public and private property.
In implementation of these measures, in order to guarantee the smooth running of the rally, on 15.03.2025, movement will be restricted on several road axes/segments, specifically:
-No parking will be allowed on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, on "Mother Teresa" square, on "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rrugova" street, on "Papa Gjon Pali II" street, on "Jeanne D'Ark" boulevard and "Bajram Curri" boulevard, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street;
-From 2:00 PM until the end of the rally, there will be a traffic jam on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, from the intersection near the Ministry of Interior to "Mother Teresa" Square, as well as on "Ukraine e Lirë", "Papa John Paul II" and "Ismail Qemali" streets.
Depending on the development of the rally, there may be restrictions on vehicle traffic on other road axes.
In the event of a blockage, to assist citizens who will be traveling on these axes, the State Police has taken measures to divert vehicle traffic to alternative routes.
The State Police appeals to citizens to avoid driving on road axes that will be blocked and to use alternative routes, so as not to impede the free movement of participants in the rally. (A2 Televizion)
