Prime Minister Edi Rama has asked citizens to vote en masse for the Socialist Party on May 11, in exchange for Albania's entry into the European Union.
While speaking during the "Flasim" podcast about the importance of the massive vote for the Socialist Party, Rama emphasized that this action will lead to every Albanian receiving a European passport by 2030, writes A2 CNN.
The head of government said that with the fourth mandate of the Socialist Party, a humiliating history for Albanians will end and, according to him, our compatriots will no longer be seen as black sheep in Europe.
"We can end the humiliating story. We will no longer be seen as black sheep. We will not have to answer to a police officer at the airport about why I am entering an EU country and when I will leave. We will provide every Albanian with the European passport of Albania."
"We need a stronger mandate than the previous 3 mandates. With a united vote, we can have the opportunity to equip every Albanian with a European passport. It will be easier for Albanians to work and study in EU countries," said Rama. (A2 Televizion)
