Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today with Albanians on the island of Crete in Greece.
During his speech to those present, Rama said that the Socialist Party today is like the Democratic Party in 1992, in the right place and time to bring the country into the European Union.
He ironically asked those present to convince Berisha's supporters to abandon him in the May 11 elections.
"Give those in the swamp a towel, dry their hair, give them a hand, warm their heart, and tell them to abandon the owl, abandon the swamp, abandon their party jersey for a moment in history, and all wear red and black on May 11th."
In 1992, all those who voted for the DP, not because they were members and because they liked the owl when it was young, but voted for the DP because at that moment in history, it was the right force in the right place.
The same thing is on May 11. Let's become a stronger majority than ever, to tell the 27 EU member states that Albanians want to be an integral part of the EU. Efkharisto", said Rama, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
