As the process of counting the votes of the diaspora, mainly those coming from Greece, is nearing completion, Prime Minister Edi Rama thanked all Albanians who voted for the first time from abroad this morning. In a post on social networks, the leading socialist says that the Albanians of the diaspora made the victory in these elections more significant. He promises that they will be more dedicated to Albania 2030.
"Good morning and with a very special thank you, to the Albanians from Greece, Italy, America, and every part of Europe and the world who joined the victory train, making it even more significant, not just in numbers, but first and foremost in terms of the powerful message of their overwhelming majority, which will make us even more committed to Albania 2030 in the EU, I wish you a good day!" Rama wrote, alongside the accompanying video from the meetings he held with the diaspora.
The Socialist Party has so far secured 83 mandates, while the Democratic Party received 50 mandates. PSD 3 mandates, the Opportunity Party received two mandates and the Albania Initiative only 1 mandate. (A2 Televizion)
