Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the new justice system is trying to hold mayors hostage without any evidence, for acts that are not legally or legally substantiated.
Rama repeated the joke from more than two decades ago when he was mayor of Tirana, recalling that "ever since he had black hair, he had said he had no son...".
Rama added that SPAK and GJKKO had his full support in the fight against corruption, but not to take mayors hostage without evidence and with unfounded accusations.
"I'm here for history, so I come out here and stop these scum, mud, stones, from all sides, all these farces. I've said it since I was black-haired, back then, that there's no son.... What's this, with talk? You enter the EU by fighting corruption, SPAK will have unquestionable support, but to fight corruption. Not to take the mayor of Tropoja hostage to lock him up, why did he cut down the forest, what is this? And the other one that has taken definite shape, the mayor of Fushë-Arrëzit, who cut down the forest to make a road for the citizens, he made a prison!", Rama said
