The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, was part of Prime Minister Edi Rama's electoral meeting with girls and women in Dibër. Not physically, but his name was mentioned by the head of government as a man from this area, who according to Rama became strong because the Socialist Party, with the justice reform, handed over the sword of punishment into his hands.
"Here in Dibër, you also have the leader of SPAK, you have him here. But how did Altin Dumani become so strong? He became strong because we have never done it for ourselves. We handed over to justice the sword of punishment that belongs to justice, and it is to put our hands on our heads when they stand up and say: "How can you vote for the SP, when half are in prison, the other half are for prison?" Because today, if you see that there can be equality before the law in Albania, this is what the SP did," said Rama.
But the Prime Minister did not leave the figure of the head of the Special Prosecution Office unappreciated, focusing on his integrity and strong fight against crime.
"I want to bring it to your attention for this reason: Altin Dumani, since he is from the area I am mentioning, has been a prosecutor for many years, and this one was from Dibra, honest, competent, unconcerned only with his work. Have you ever heard of Altin Dumani questioning any well-known person? When I said then that we want to have a justice system that does not look left or right, I also had it in mind for us. And our moral, character, political, and civic strength is to overcome ourselves and to be morally capable of accepting the blows of justice when they come even within our own home," Rama said.
