Albania is the first country in the region for the production of energy from solar panels, by private individuals and businesses. This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama said, answering the question of a commentator on social networks, who wanted to know if there would be facilities for people who produce their own energy through this method.
"We produce 196 MWh, more than four times that of Serbia and 10 times that of Kosovo, Montenegro and North Macedonia," said Rama. "Soon the announcement of the second support package for solar panels for families in the apartment will be made and it will be without question a success, because as happened with the first package, the interest is great and all the financing was used up, 100%".
Rama said that this effort, like many others of his government, are the reason why the Socialist Party wins. "Whoever underestimates this people makes a big mistake. We Albanians are like others when we do everything as a football coach, but when it came to politics, the dog doesn't eat our stick. Albanians know how to distinguish between what works and what destroys. And moreover, real life is not that of social networks", said the prime minister.
"In a few years, the country gains complete energy independence, raises the flag of energy sovereignty, covering 100% of needs with domestic production and becoming a net exporting country.
